Senior Tooling Design Engineer
Johor Bahru
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all current and new tooling issues and to achieve the best possible process in term of manufacturing ability.
- Develop network of reliable mould vendors and ensure timely delivery of mould for all customer’s submission.
- Ensure a complete and detailed tooling drawing for each rubber moulded part.
- Monitor tooling design standard for compliance
- To maintain and control tooling costing and expenses
- Review and trouble-shoot tooling issues with solutions
- Degree/ Diploma in Precision/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience in Rubber/Plastic Moulding industry
- Knowledge in Rubber/Plastic Moulding Process will be an advantage
- Knowledge in software such as Unigraphic, AutoCAD, Solidwork etc.
- Able to handle measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, CMM or any measuring scope.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret drawings and technical instructions.
