Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical Background)

Job description:

Job Responsibilities

• He/she is responsible to maintain all the equipment and machinery that is in the manufacturing unit, conduct daily, weekly and monthly corrective and preventive maintenance in accordance to PM scheduling and troubleshooting for both electrical and mechanical breakdown/failure.
• He/she is responsible to keep maintenance reports and also make records for all the repair works thy conduct on the machinery to comply to regulatory requirement and certification body (FSSC 22000).
• To manage and supervise a team of maintenance personnel, technician and electricians. Work closely in a multidisciplinary team with other engineers to ensure optimal operations of equipment, machines and facilities.
• He/she is responsible in work scheduling, spare-parts ordering and inventory accuracy, prepare job specification and shift arrangement for maintenance department.
• He/she is responsible to good documentation to ensure all equipment and technical drawings are updated and maintain accordingly.
• He/she is required to work closely and establish good teamwork with related departments in carryout routine maintenance, shutdown and minor project works in plant.
• Participate in role of Food Safety Team committee member ensuring update forms and records in compliance to the FSSC 22000 requirements. 
• Other machinery and facilities improvement tasks as assigned by Maintenance Manager from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in FMCG industries.
• Able to communicate in English and Computer Literate, proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• An understanding of electrical troubleshooting, repair know-how and electrical health and safety legislation.
• Meticulous, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good organizational skills including ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
