Advisory Senior / Semi Senior / Assistant
Location Johor
AssistantMain Roles & Responsibilities:
- Establish working relationships with clients
- Undertake various audit assignments of clients in various industries
- Prepare audit working papers in accordance with standards and requirements
- Preparing internal audit plans
- Carrying out internal audit, corporate governance, enterprise risk assessment projects
- Preparing internal audit reports
- Advising management on process/control weaknesses and make cost-effective recommendations in line with industry best practices
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assists in the planning, execution and finalization of all areas of the audit assignments of small and medium size and clients listed on Stock Exchange in various industries
- Identify and discuss accounting, auditing and or other reporting issues with manager and/or partner
- Review for completeness and adequacy, the audit working papers prepared by junior members within the engagement team
- Manage client’s expectation and provide timely updates and or feasible solutions on their queries
- Supervise, coach and develop junior members within the teams
- Prepare recommendation letter to client to improve controls and enhance business efficiency as well as any required special reports
- Leading internal audits
- Conducting closing meetings with clients
- Providing coaching and reviewing the work of junior members
- Preparing proposals to clients
- Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA, CA, CIA or equivalent professional qualification
- Candidates with more than 3 years of proven and relevant audit experience will be considered for Senior position
- Candidates with 2 - 3 years audit experience will be considered for Semi Senior position
- Candidates with good academic background but with no experience will be considered for Assistant position as training will be provided
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Good report writing and interpersonal/communication skills
- Candidate with knowledge of Mandarin will be an advantage
- Willing to travel
