Jawatan Kosong Kuala Lumpur Mac 2014 - Ahmad Zaki Resources Bhd
1. SENIOR EXECUTIVE QUALITY ASSURANCE / HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL - Kuala Lumpur
Responsibilities:
- Assist QHSE Sectional Heads on planning, implementing & monitoring the QHSE actions plans
- Assist the Sectional Heads in internal and external auditing
- Assist in monitoring, review, revise and maintaining the company’s Integrated Management System to align with ISO 9001:2008, OSHA 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004
- Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents and commercial correspondence
- Lead on coordinating the archiving and retrieve process for HQ and project site
- Possess minimum qualification of Degree in any discipline or equivalent
- Familiar with the management system especially Quality Management System and ISO 9001:2008
- Knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations, Environmental Act and Quality Management contained in OHSAS 18001:1999, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001:2008 will be an added advantage
2. MANAGER, INTERNAL AUDIT (PLANTATION) - Kuala Lumpur
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, formulating effective internal audit plans.
- Responsible for generating the company’s overall internal control of its operation and its effectiveness.
- Responsible for planning, budgeting and executing of audit works.
- Review the reliability and integrity of financial and operations information reporting systems.
- Assists/conduct reviews to ensure compliance to policies, procedures, plans and relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify critical issues and recommend measures to enhance productivity and profitability.
- Review working papers, draft reports, assess and make practical recommendations to enhance internal control framework and business operations.
- Conclude audit recommendation and submission of internal audit reports to Audit Committee and Management.
- Highlight key control discrepancies to the Audit Committee and Management for rectifications.
- Provide adequate follow up to ensure implementation of operating management’s commitment is appropriately engaged/taken and evaluate its effectiveness.
- Supervise and improve auditing and interpersonal skills.
- Implement staff technical and professional development programs.
- Undertake special assignments and investigations as may be identified by IA or requested by its stakeholders.
- Contribute to the established of an effective risk control environment.
3. ARCHITECT - Kuala Lumpur
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years working experience, preferably with some past working experience in plantation industry.
- Possess a good undertaking in internal control i.e. internal auditing standards, procedures and techniques.
- Personal attributes should include strong organizational and analytical skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, and able to take pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good command of English with a flair for reporting writing.
- Strong knowledge in corporate governance requirement is an added advantage.
- Willing to travel within Malaysia and overseas with short notice.
- Possess own transport.
- Must possess a Professional Accounting qualification i.e. ACCA, MICPA etc.
- Liaising with relevant consultants and authorities eg: correspondences, meetings, etc.
- Attending site inspection/visit to ensure project proceed accordingly to contract specification and QA/QC.
- Checking and superimposing all consultants’ drawing for discrepancies.
- Advise management on design proposed by consultants.
- Materials selection and recommendation for management approval
- Professional Degree in Architecture. (exemption from Part 2 RIBA or equivalent). Membership of LAM would be advantageous.
- Minimum 5 - 10 years’ relevant working experience in development of high end high rise buildings
- Sound knowledge of contractual procedures, regulatory and statutory requirements
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with client, consultants, contractors and authorities
- Self-disciplined, responsible, self-motivated and mature personality
- Plan, direct, manage, monitor, control and coordinate the architecture works in order to achieve timely completion of the project within specified quality, specifications and cost
- Ensure architecture quality management and adequate coordination of works, duties, responsibilities among consultants site personnel
- Resolve technical and contractual issues to avoid any possible delay.
- Technically adept and well versed in reading drawings, specification and testing of materials.
- Able to give and received instructions and work as a team.
- Able to handle pressure , thinking out of the box, assessing and resolving issues
- Ability to work independently, possess good leadership and result oriented.
- Good communication skills in English written and verbal.
