TNB REMACO is a wholly owned subsidiary
of TNB offers services in the repair and maintenance (R&M) and
operations and maintenance (O&M) of energy-related industry, with
special emphasis on power plant e.g. gas, steam and hydro turbines, boiler,
generator, etc. While its roots are firmly consolidated on
accomplishments within Malaysia, TNB REMACO has made inroads into the
international arena and its growth has already gained foothold in
overseas market including power plants in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Pakistan
and Kuwait to name a few.
Job Vacancies at TNB Repair and Maintenance Sdn. Bhd. (TNB REMACO)
Positions:-
1. MANAGER (OPERATION)
At Sandakan Power Station / Kubota Power Station
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to Station Manager, Sandakan Power Station (Sandakan) or Kubota Power Station (Tawau), Sabah responsible for:
• Develop and establish annual production planning and target that is in conformance to Station Business Plan, Service Level Agreement, Safety requirement, Quality requirement, regulatory requirement and related circulars/procedures
• Evaluate and review plant performance data as to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of plants and auxiliaries at all time.
• Review and verify monthly station Energy and Capacity Revenue
• Manage effective communication with relevant parties such as SESB and other internal or external parties to ensure compliance and smooth operational activities at all time
• Ensure effective coordination and management of plant fuel requirement at all time
• Responsible to ensure all production report/record are accurate, updated and maintained at all time
• Planning, preparation and reviewing departmental budgets based on annual business plan
• Manage effectively staff issues such as welfare, leave and coverage, performance appraisal, discipline and competency as required
• Exercise responsibility as a member of Emergency Response Team (ERT), Emergency Management Team or any other safety and health, environmental committees as and when required.
• Adhere to quality system procedures, safety procedure and environmental procedures and review procedures related to operational process for continuous improvement as and when necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
• Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen with Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical).
• Additional qualification with Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) certification by DOSH is an advantage.
• The candidate shall have excellent knowledge at least five (5) years working experience in the discipline of diesel plants operation and maintenance.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
